In other developments: I've been working on progressing the new, fancy, cool blog that I mentioned before, trying to finish an online biology course before it finishes me, and have taken up (and sticking to!) yoga (Holla, summer bucket list! I haven't forgotten you!).
I'd really really like to save my fancy London pictures and show them off on the new blog when it goes up, so for now, here's this little gem:
What is that? No, it is not an outtake from The Amanda Show (untimely?). Why, that is a picture that is a part of the National Geographic's archives that they recently released via tumblr. Some of the shots are truly *interesting, others are kind of weird. Here's a few more great ones (after the jump!):
^^This one was taken at UT! WOOOO!^^
Pretty great stuff. I could've posted a ton more, but then you'd think I had no self control. Plus you could just click on the link yourself and look for hours and no one would ever know.
*Also there is one of these Amish Children that is really "interesting" but frankly too scary for me to put on my blog and potentially have to revisit time and time again. But because I care, and I know you want to look, here's a link.
PS, I was about to add a little note that said "I'm overreacting. It's not that scary. I'm just judgy." but then I'd be a liar. Click at your own risk.
PPS Might be overreacting a little.
I do love a good vintage photograph, so thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing how you spent your time in London. I do live in London but its such a huuuuge city that you may show me something even I didn't know was going on!

Thanks for visiting and the sweet comment, Maryam! I'm hoping to launch the new blog soon with all of my London photos- time keeps getting away from me lately! It'll be up within the month!
DeleteNational Geographic (vintage & new) is just so amazing. My grandfather used to save all his past issues. I subscribed this year, and now I find myself doing the same thing. The yellow-edge covers are piling up!
