14. Go bike riding.

Disclaimer: I am awful at riding a bike. I am getting much, much better (like now I can go farther than 5 feet without screaming the whole time), but I am still no pro by any means. I've had many dear friends who have tried patiently to teach me to ride a bike with little success. However, since I've lived in Austin, and seen how cute you can look on a bike (that's what it takes to win me over), and hearing my boyfriend yack about how much fun it is, I bit the bullet. I bought a 1975 yellow Schwinn for pretty cheap, I think it's too cute and perfect for me to learn on. I wanted a step through so I could wear skirts. Priorities, people.

^^This is me. Sweating and powering through, being a bike trooper.^^

^^This is a show off.^^

^^Also, please note that I ALWAYS wear a helmet when I ride. I just took it off for a few minutes for the pictures.^^

^^We also sometimes like to pretend we're a yellow bike gang.^^

^^Like I said, my nutcase helmet is always on my noggin. Because let's be honest, Me vs. Car has a clear-cut winner, and I love my brains.^^

^^A Salty Oats Cookie from Quack's Bakery in Hyde Park (which I totally biked to).^^

I am definitely still a wuss on a bike, hence the reason why I had to put an established bike ride on my summer bucket list. I mostly ride in the neighborhood right by my apartment, which is very cute, has lot's of bike lanes, and bakeries to motivate me.

Consider number 14 crossed off, but most definitely to be revisited throughout the summer.

UPDATE: Our bike gang has been named: The Grumble Bees. You've been warned. Also, if you have a yellow bike, look us up.
